Light tanks have usually been the military's attempt to replace the cavalry of old. Fast, agile forces that can scout the field, disrupt the lines of communication, and flank heavier units. The ability to bypass fortifications or simply attack an enemies rear can spread havoc and often cause panic.  Alvis' Scorpion was created to be the best of those things and over its life has been modified to suit many roles!

Now lets add the really cool aspect of this vehicle. No 1/16 scale kit existed until 2016 when Spyker workshops put together a 3D printed vehicle. From the tracks up it is a really well thought out project that allows for the myriad changes and improvements over the years to be depicted. You have the choice of the 76mm, 30mm Scimitar version or the later 90mm export variant.
