T34/85 Snow Monster

DAK HOME

Weathered Warrior

I found a deal I couldn't refuse... Taigen T34 with all the fixings out of the back of a truck.... literally.  The tank was later modified to Tamiya guts with recoil.

It came a pure white wash and I actually "green-washed" it back to a distressed state. The final product has placed in local and regional model contests and is one of my better painting efforts. My daughter named it Snow Monster and I translated that to cyrillic... kind of!

Two projects fell in my lap, the Sherman was quickly re-sold to another and the T34-85 was second hand.
